Photoshop, though… its insanely complicated interface is why it’s incredibly hard to learn. Another example of this is Microsoft Word (or anything else in their office suite). Basically nobody knows how to use Word, even professionals who use it daily and have severe formatting requirements, like lawyers. And this is because the interface is designed terribly, stuffed full of functions that like .01% of people will ever use, and changes every version to boot. (This has led to some incredibly pissy things being written on the internet, like this monstrosity, which encourages hundreds-of-dollars-an-hour lawyers to waste their time trying to study a 1000-page plus manual.)

(Ok, now I’m just ranting. The point is that usability matters, and cluttered insane interfaces destroy it.)
